Manufacturing Technician Job

MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN - PHARM needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Vacaville, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Maintain equipment and stocking lab supplies.
- Experiments for scale down chromatography and filtration operations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Assisting in laboratory operations, including buffer preparation, small scale column packing, chromatography and filter sizing run execution, sample handling and analytical testing (HPLC/UV-spec scan).
- Maintaining analytical equipment and stocking lab supplies.
- Completing small scale experiments for scale down chromatography and filtration operations, and writing technical reports.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with PC desktop applications and business operations software system.
- Team Oriented, dependable, and self-starter.
- Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instruction.
- Experiences with cGMP documentation
- Knowledge of protein purification operations, including scale-up/scale-down

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with the AKTA purification systems/Unicorn software, HP/Waters HPLC systems and Empower software is preferred.
- Prior experience in a Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Or Chemical Manufacturing environment preferred.
