Manufacturing Technician Associate III

Yoh has a long term contract opportunity for a MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN ASSOCIATE III to join our client, a world leader in the pharmaceutical industry, located in Emeryville, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare buffers as needed for the production of Peptide Synthesis products.
- Perform in process testing of intermediates and bulk conjugates. Complete associated documentation.
- Analytical experience including SDS-PAGE, HPLC, and Silver Staining preferred.
- May perform SAP duties that include cycle counting, reservations, and scrapping of expiring raw materials.
- Perform column testing procedures on an annual basis.
- Keep track of equipment calibration status on department cGMP equipment.
- Maintain department Visual Factory board.
- 5S responsibilities include daily lab inspections and removal of expired glassware.
- Peptide Experience a plus, willing to work with hazardous chemicals.
- Perform all manufacturing operations under cGMP requirements.
- Follow procedures Manufacturing procedures and documentation requirements.
- Create OJT records as required.
- Maintain processes, equipment and facility under cGMP compliance status.
- Maintain logbooks, inventory forms, OJT and other records as required.
- Update department product spreadsheets as necessary.

Job Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Science (Biology, Biochemistry, or related).
- Minimum two (2) years manufacturing experience in cGMP environment demonstrating initiative, continual improvement, and advancement.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- DR/CAPA experience is preferred.
