Manufacturing Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN to join our global manufacturing company in Newark, DE.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Monitors and operates presses, tumblers, and sintering ovens ensuring quality and conformance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Manufactures parts in accordance with safety, quality and production best practices and requirements.
- Monitors and operates production equipment, ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures.
- Performs minor maintenance functions within the operating area and within level of expertise.
- Maintains safety standards at all times and initiates and follows emergency procedures when necessary.
- Other duties may be assigned by manager and/or supervisor.
- This position is required to work shifts. Shift schedules are subject to change as determined by business and production needs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):

- One to two (1-2) years of manufacturing experience required.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Good interpersonal, verbal and writing skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend Standard Practice documents and other written instructions.
- Good attendance record and demonstrated reliability.
