Manufacturing Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN to join our global manufacturing company in Hayward, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works on assignments that are highly complex where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
- Designs experiments with process engineering and generates reports on outcomes and results.
- Troubleshoots out of control conditions.
- Performs functionality and qualification testing of new processes and equipment. Gives input on tank design, pump and valve types and researches new technology.
- May work with team to establish a development plan for releasing new products to production.
- Perform routine process operation including weighing, mixing, and filtration of chemical solutions in a manufacturing environment.

Job Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):
- Must be able to read and use information on MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet)
- MUST BE WILLING AND ABLE TO FREQUENTLY LIFT AND MOVE OBJECTS WEIGHING UP TO 50LBS
- Must be medically tested and cleared to wear a PAPR (Powered air purifying respirator)
- Must be fork-lift certified
- Must be willing to work on either first or second shift and/or a rotating base shift.
