Manufacturing Quality Engineer - QA/Production/Manufacturing - Longterm Contract

Duration: Initially 6 months with very likely extensions up to 1-2 years

Location: West Yorkshire

Key: Support the Production & Quality Teams - Support production in terms of Quality issues, parts etc

I am proud to be exclusively representing my client, a global leader in their field who has an urgent requirement for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer/Quality Engineer/Project Engineer to join their expanding team on a long-term Contract basis.

Role:
Ensure that the product delivered to the customer is compliant with the specifications and satisfy all customer concerns. The Manufacturing Quality Engineer is fully responsible of the quality of the product they are working on so they have the responsibility to deploy corrective and preventive action to constantly improve their product performance.
The Manufacturing Quality Engineer will interface and cooperate with all the others support functions (Industrial, Maintenance, Logistics, Purchasing...) but also with the shop floor teams"

Requirements:
* Minimum 2-3 years experience in a Quality Management/Manufacturing Support role in a similar manufacturing environment - eg Any Controlled/Regulated Environment - Medium Voltage.
* Understanding of the requirements of ISO9001 and a 6sigma certification is a nice to have but NOT essential.
