Manufacturing/Production Engineer Job

MANUFACTURING/PRODUCTION ENGINEER needed for a SIX (6) MONTH CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Irvine, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Develops/implements production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in most cost efficient manner.
- Investigates and resolves work-in-process problems.
- Recommends and implements improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization and related matters.
- Monitors assigned operations to assure compliance with approved methods and standards. Typically would possess a degree in Manufacturing Engineering

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS Engineering
- Seven to ten (7-10) years related experience, preferably in a medical device manufacturing facility
- Design for Manufacturability
- Specification development
- Development of manufacturing processes, fixtures, equipment and documentation
- Supplier management and process development activities
- Development of inspection methods and equipment
- Cost control activities
- Ramp up production processes to support commercial volume
