This well established manufacturer of automated components have forged long term strategic partnerships with major OEM's which has resulted in the increase of workload over the last 12 month. The OEM working with this company have recently had a 33% rise in cars sales in Asia which has resulted in the urgent need for a number of Manufacturing Process Engineers to help cope with the workload. The role will involve:
o Working as part of a small team - Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics and Operators.
o Looking after the production lines.
o Dealing with the customer concerns. e.g. if an operator needs a jig, a layout maybe poor, machinery may not be working, etc.
o Meet up over quality concerns. e.g. weld fails, parts may be sent out with parts missing.
o Root cause analysis and problem solving.
o Engineering solutions - documentation - SOP's, improving layout, training operatives, Poke Yoke, etc.

The successful candidates will have the following skills:
o Manufacturing background
o Problem solving and process improvement
o Able to do layouts, SOP's, PFMEAs and Process flows.
o Root cause analysis- continuous improvement.
