Manufacturing Integration Consultant

This position is for an SAP business process/technical role providing solutions in the ERP Manufacturing Integration space. The focus of the position will be to serve as a technical and functional subject matter expert in analysing, designing, and developing solutions for SAP enhancements generated from the SAP Continuous Improvement and SAP Global Deployment areas.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyze SAP system solutions supporting Manufacturing Integration.
- Recommend strategies that are both compliant and efficient in accordance with company compliance guidelines.
- Work with users to define user requirements, functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Review and analyze solution enhancement requests to determine complexity and provide resource/cost estimates.
- Develop user and technical specifications to support development of approved solutions.
- Perform process impact analysis as well as related SAP functional/technical activities (design, prototype, test, implement) for enhancement requests.
- Author and execute test scripts required to maintain a validated system state.
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate SAP functionality to a broad stakeholder group.
- Translate and influence business and functional solution requirements with stakeholders.

SKILLS:

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- SAP ECC Configuration (PP,MM,WM).
- Integration between SAP ECC and other systems (example WMS, MES, Swiss log, LIMS etc.).
- Understanding of ABAP programming, systems development and Application integration.
- Thorough understanding of IDOC processing/troubleshooting.
- Materials Management - Warehouse Mangement, SAP.
- Must have excellent understanding of cross-functional integration among SAP PP, MM, WM (SU and HU) SD, BI.
- Strong SAP Manufacturing Master Data knowledge in areas of Material Master, Bill of Materials, Recipes, Production Versions and Resources.
- Excellent writing and communication skills for technical document writing.
- Global Pharmaceutical industry SAP implementation experience preferred.
- Familiar with software development life cycle.
- Use of HP Quality Center a plus.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's Degree
- 8+ years of SAP ECC Production Planning, Warehouse Management, Materials Management and Distribution experience including excellent functional knowledge and configuration skill.
