Manufacturing Engineer - Medical Device - East Bay

Job Responsibilities:

* Updates electrical and mechanical component specifications to replace obsolete components with functionally equivalent replacements.
* Works with engineering to find and test suitable replacements where equivalents are not available.
* Create or Modify 3D models & drawings using GD&T ANSI Y14.5.
* Prepare Bill of Material, New Part Request & ECO for production release, and support document control in ECO implementation.
* Disposition and root cause investigation of non-conforming materials.
* Develops and updates test procedures for electromechanical assemblies.
* Performs assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electromechanical assemblies.

Qualifications:

* BS in electronics or mechanical
* Medical device experience
* Experience with IEC60601-1 compliant device(s) preferred.
* Experience using Solidworks 2010-2012
* Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning system, Epicor preferred.
