Manufacturing Engineer Job

MANUFACTURING ENGINEERS are needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in PHOENIX, AZ.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Plans, directs and coordinates manufacturing processes in a diverse, labor-intensive, non-automated production environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Create standard work for production operations.
- Provides technical assistance to production operators.
- Manages advanced manufacturing projects.
- Implements process and design improvements.
- Controls manufacturing documentation.
- Maintains complete technical oversight of day-to-day operations.
- Supports advancement and improvement of cell operations by applying lean manufacturing principles.
- Partners with Production Supervisor to become part of Leadership Team for a production cell.
- Work with third party vendors to design and build tooling.
- Prepares and presents recommendations and results to management.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS degree in Engineering and at least two (2) years of related experience and/or training.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Project Management experience.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize both daily issues and longer term projects.
- Good analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word etc.).
- Experience with CAD tools.
- Ability to be hands-on with product and visualize solutions.
- This is a six (6) month contract, paying $24 - $26 per hour.
