Manufacturing Engineer Job

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Trenton, NJ.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Lean Manufacturing (Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, Poke-Yoke, Value Stream Mapping, etc.)
- Sheetmetal stamping and fabrication
- AutoCAD

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
- Development of new Sheetmetal tooling along with in-house tool room and external tooling suppliers
- Development of new or refined equipment, processes, products, or methods
- Provide technical guidance to maintenance and tool room personnel in troubleshooting and repair of equipment

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, Poke-Yoke, Value Stream Mapping, etc.)
- Results-oriented, self-starter
- Must function well in a Team environment
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and creative ability
- Excellent analytical skills; ability to transfer analysis into actionable results

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge of AutoCAD, PRO-E
