A leading manufacturer in their field has an immediate requirement for a Manufacturing Engineer on an initial 6 month contract basis.
As a Contract Manufacturing Engineer you will have a strong background in hands-on management of manual assembly lines, managing continuous improvement, using lean methodologies and substantive process engineering practices throughout the manufacturing operation.
Your key responsibility areas will include:
The reduction of manufacturing costs
The increase of production and equipment efficiencies
The improvement of quality and scrap levels
The stability of the process
Thorough understanding of problem solving methodologies
Detailed knowledge of manufacturing techniques
Previous experience with new product development projects
