Manufacturing Engineer needed for metal manufacturing facility in northern Georgia. The location is close enough to commute from northeast Atlanta suburbs. At least one year of 5S, lean manufacturing and root cause analysis experience having completed one successful project required. You will review defect and failure information and trace it back, make suggestions for changes, and implement changes. No relocation assistance provided. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Find improvements to the manufacturing process, direct QC inspection points and methods.
- Determine root cause for failures and defects and propose changes.
- Lead process improvements, 5S programs and Lean initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

- 1+ year experience with 5S, Lean manufacturing and root cause analysis in a manufacturing environment.
- Metal fabrication experience is a plus.
- Engineering Degree a plus.
