Manufacturing Engineer

Progressive Global Energy are working in partnership with one of the largest Oil and Gas service company's in Europe. Due to continued growth within this particular business division of the organisation our clients are looking to recruit an experienced Manufacturing Engineer.

THE ROLE

To help develop/evaluate/improve best practices manufacturing processes& procedures. In-house and external manufacturing with existing & new suppliers. For existing products, new products and R&D work.

Working mainly with engineering & manufacturing departments with all materials - steels, exotics, composites, plastics & all fixing methods (welding, adhesives and other methods).

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Oilfield experience an advantage but not essential.

A manufacturing qualification and some years experience is essential. Ensuring that existing processes are robust and new technologies are employed where warranted. Technical & related commercial skills beneficial.

6-Zigma experience beneficial, more hands on/practical levels.

This is a full time position based in Aberdeen.

The salary would be £35-45k plus benefits.
