Manufacturing Engineer

ASSEMBLY MANUFACTURING ENGINEER with automotive or automotive components manufacturing experience is needed immediately for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a leading manufacturer in northwest TN. Must be a self-starter able to hit the ground running. Local candidates preferred. Per diem is available to the right qualified candidate. You will work to get new products on the market on time and within budget. Competitive hourly rate and benefits offered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work as an assembly manufacturing engineer on assemblies and drive commercialization of new products and production
- Develop master schedule
- Learn the products and make quote packages for equipment and supplies in the plant, review equipment quotes and manage equipment installation and commissioning
- Assist other engineers in identifying opportunities for plant improvement

REQUIREMENTS

- You must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and at least 4 years manufacturing engineering experience
- Must have assembly experience related to automotive or automtoive component manufacturing
- Additional desired experience (not required): Autocad knowldege, automotive or automotive components manufacturing experience, steering
- PLC experience or basic knowledge is desirable
- Experience with creating master schedule for manufacturing equipment procurement, installation and start up
