Manufacturing Engineer

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER is needed a manufacturer in northwest TN. This is a full-time direct hire position. Local candidate preferred but will offer relocation assistance. Candidates must have automotive or automotive components experience. Steering is a plus. Competitive hourly rate and benefits offered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist other engineers in identifying opportunities for plant improvement
- Support manufacturing operations and lead continuous improvement activities, maintaining and improving production line documentation.
- Provide technical support to mass production and assembly lines in order to meet customer demand.
- Improve safety, productivity, quality (continuous improvement) and support lean manufacturing initiatives. Document process specification and instruction.

REQUIREMENTS

- You must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and at least 4 years of manufacturing engineering experience. Experience in automotive or automotive components manufacturing is required
- Additional desired experience (not required): Autocad knowledge, automotive or automotive components manufacturing experience, steering
