Manufacturing Bioprocess Technician Job

MANUFACTURING BIOPROCESS TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT TIME opportunity with Yoh's client located in South San Francisco, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Knowledgeable with cGMP and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for producing innovative biotherapeutic medicine by interfacing with highly automated production systems and controls in cGMP manufacturing environment, and maintain areas in high state of inspection preparedness.
- Operates production equipment for cell culture that may include culture growth, process monitoring, sampling, harvesting, and transfer.
- Performs media/buffer solution preparation operations.
- Maintains records and clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirements utilizing current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Responsible for being proficient in one functional area.
- Understands and applies biological, chemical and mechanical principles and techniques.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING INTO THE TABLE:

- A high school degree with some college-level course work in biological sciences, physical sciences, or engineering with at least 2 years of relevant biopharmaceutical experience.

- Able to work weekends, off-shifts, and overtime as required
- Mechanical aptitude and a familiarity with computer based systems
