Our Client, one of the world's largest outsourcing and IT consultancies, is looking to recruit a contract Manufacturing and Hi-Tech Business Analyst to join their team in Nashville, USA.

The Manufacturing and Hi-Tech Business Analyst will need to have the following experience.

· Business Analysis (L3) - Interface with clients and gain understanding of requirements/processes through meetings and discussions. Provide overall business and systems analysis and design support. Coordinate new customer development and enhancements. Execute functional tests and evaluate results to ensure accuracy and quality of complex system changes. Provide testing feedback to technology and monitor adherence to functional requirements. Ensure that the resources are equipped to be productive in time to meet requirements of customer. Adjust priorities according to changes in requirements and workload. Assist Overall Program's project manager in making staffing planning decisions and communicate effectiveness of offshore delivery. Provides Training and Operational support to business unit. Provide training to existing staff on and off site training and demos as needed. Assist and advise peers to ensure efficient management of current and incoming resources. May be a subject matter expert in a chosen area/function.
· Business Analysis (L1) - The role primarily focuses on support in terms of research and background information which is needed by the project teams. Aids in the development of client requirements via industry standard analysis techniques such as data flow modelling, case analysis, workflow analysis, functional decomposition analysis, data modelling, and object modelling. Documents the results of analysis activities using the appropriate templates or analysis tools.
· Sybase (L1) - Exposure to Basic Relational Database Concepts - basic types of databases, data integrity, the relational model, etc Ability to understand basics of DB Design , Logical modelling, Normalization & De-Normalization Techniques. SQL Constructs. Ability to understand and implement Data Types, Basic SQL SELECT Statements, Restricting and Sorting Data, System Functions, Joins, Sub-Queries, Creating & Managing DB Objects, Manipulating Data (DML), Constraints and Views SQL Query Tuning Basics: Understanding of SQL Tuning concepts like SQL Statement Processing Basics, Setting and Using SHOWPLAN, How indexes work, Creating and using Indexes, Introduction to the Optimizer Basics and Gathering Statistics Basics Adv SQL Basics: User defined data types, User defined messages, Working with identity property on tables, Working with NULL values, reformatting the results sets, Advanced Subqueries, Restriction of using group by and compute classes. Tools Level 1 usage. Database Programming Basics: Ability to understand and implement Declaring Variables, Building Blocks, Control Structures, Cursors, Error Handing, Creating Procedures and Creating Database Triggers. Adv Database Programming: Ability to understand and implement programming with locks and isolation and working with temporary tables.
· DB2 (L2) - Basic Knowledge of DB2. Basic Syntax RDBMS Subsystems SQL Error handling. Knowledge of application development by using DB2 Advanced Concepts Embedded SQL Tables debug Exception handling DB2 for App ln Programming.
· English Language.
