Managment Accountant

A leading bank are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team within the insurance division in order to assist in the preparation of statutory accounts. WHATS ON OFFER:

Location: Midlands, South West
Rate: £275-£350 per day
Contract: 6 Month

Key Responsibilities:

- Production of monthly management reports in lines with current accounting standards
- Preparation of month end routines, accounts and operations.
- Producing journals and keeping the month end procedures up to date with changing requirements
- Balance sheet reconciliation requirements
- Preparing and providing comprehensive and coherent commentary on the Management Accounts
- Assist in pulling together statutory accounts information at year end to aid the audit process

Experience and Qualifications

- Qualified accountant ( CIMA/ACA/ACCA/FCCA)
- Background in Insurance ( Preferably Life)
- Experience working within the financial services industry
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines when required
