SENIOR MANAGER (PRU STANDARDS, WHOLESALE CONDUCT, RISK)

Outsource UK are looking to recruit a Senior Manager with Prudential Standards, Commercial, Wholesale Conduct and Compliance Risk Oversight experience. You will also need to have a good understanding of 2nd line oversight and ideally have relevant experience in a similar role (Audit, Compliance Oversight). You will be a confident communicator with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders up to and including Divisional Directors. You will also have a track record of managing risk within an organisation and will understand the importance a risk culture brings within a large business. You will be working at a high profile financial services organisation based in Swindon who in return are looking to offer a 6-9 month initial contract to commence in January 2014.

THE JOB:

The role is to lead a team of compliance professionals to provide independent compliance oversight and deep dive reviews, as well as help support, develop and implement key policies, control and risk management practices to manage compliance risks, with particular focus on prudential regulations, wholesale conduct and compliance risks associated with commercial portfolios.

Your Key Accountabilities:

- Leverage your subject matter and risk expertise, work with a team of peers and stakeholders to provide oversight of the design (content) and implementation of key compliance risk management policies, control frameworks, compliance risk measures and monitoring capabilities for prudential regulations, wholesale conduct and compliance risks associated with commercial portfolios across the group.
- Representing 2nd line oversight - provide, support, review & challenge to the 1st line key control functions and business areas to ensure achievement of objectives and outcomes.
- Lead, develop and coach a team of compliance oversight professionals to structure and undertake independent compliance risk reviews.
- Manage senior stakeholders (including other oversight functions) and peers to ensure buy-in, effective communication and reporting on compliance risk oversight.
