Manager of Occupational Health - Permanent Job

MANAGER OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH needed for a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with Yoh's client located in Seattle, WA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Experience in Occupational Health
- Previous managerial or supervisory experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Lead a team in the reduction of work-related risks, illnesses and injuries including, screening of new hires, medical surveillance, blood borne pathogens and communicable disease exposure, work restrictions, exposure control plans for highly infectious pathogens, hearing loss prevention, ergonomics/safe patient handling and respiratory protection
- Responsible for leadership and administration of all occupational health clinics, including the main campus clinic and delivery of the tuberculosis (TB) campaign for workforce; the flu campaign for workforce, patients, and household contacts; and pneumococcal immunizations for specified patient populations.
- Recruit, develop and retain highly competent, high-performing staff
- Responsible for budget, resource management and service delivery

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Current Washington RN license
- Master's Degree in occupational health nursing, public health, business or related field preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience
- Experience in occupational and environmental health and safety
- At least three (3) years of experience in managing professional staff and in a leadership capacity
- COHN-S, or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire
