We have an immediate opportunity available for experienced Consumer Understandings Manager to fill a highly visible within our customer's organization.

JOB PURPOSE

The Global Consumer Understanding Manager main goal is to be the Voice of the Consumers within company, in order to guide Commercial and Marketing Teams on brand strategy, product innovation and process improvement. Global consumer understanding is also the ultimate expert in the management of our own consumer data coming from mobile and Internet sources and its consequent use in models that can enable segmentation and personalization.

Ultimately, the Global Consumer Understanding Manager is responsible for promoting consumer centricity within company and to formulate strategic recommendations and develop capabilities to drive growth.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Building the basics:

- Supporting and coaching local marketing managers in building the best Consumer Understanding (CU) talents in our markets
- Develop global partnerships with top-notch research partners

Developing strategy:

- Leverage big date to increase customer satisfactions and business performance
- Define and coordinate with commercial and marketing teams global and local CU roadmap
- Support innovation process for product development/improvement being the voice of consumers within the team.
- Provide market dynamics analyses including competitive set benchmarking, and macro-trends predictions
- Feed business development team with market information to assess feasibility of new offer, service or business.

Enhance processes such as:

- Segmentation - Performing holistic segmentation for customer base/markets (behavioural, U&A, lifestyle, etc)
- Predictive Analytics - Robust predictions of business outcomes (churn, lifetime value, etc..)
- Consumer Journey Mapping - Ensure delightful and coherent user experience across key touch points
- Branding - Monitor health of brand portfolio
- Product marketing - Enhance user perception of key products
- Innovation - Identify new businesses opportunities based on consumer trends

QUALIFICATIONS

- University degree in marketing, social sciences, statistics or mathematics (we are open-minded)
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivation and ability to work alone or in interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to develop new creative techniques or approaches
- Excellent English level. French and/or Spanish language a must

EXPERIENCE

- 10+ years of experience with proven track record in similar position
- Experience in advanced data analytics and ideally big data
- Experience in user research, concept formulation and testing
- Experience in quantitative research techniques (including online)
- Experience in managing teams in different regions/countries
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs
- Web/Internet services experience is a strong plus

- Credibility to present to senior managers and challenge thinking to ensure decisions are made with consumers in mind
- Skilled in the synthesis of data and understanding from multiple data sources in order to distil it down into actionable insights
- Ability to manage and work with ambiguity.
- Passionate for understanding what makes consumers tick and inspiring others to do the same
- Fervent about for understanding impact of technology and innovation opportunities
- Future focused, always looking to identify and leverage consumer grounded opportunities for future profitable growth
- Rich with diverse experiences - We are looking for people with diverse experience in multiple domain areas like Internet services, FMCG, Financial services, healthcare or telecommunication.
- Ability to extend an insight process in to the online world - We are passionate about connecting our in-depth field work to extended relationships and insights online. Experience in online communities, crowd sourcing, and social networking are highly desirable.
