MANAGER, MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS FRAMINGHAM, MA 12 MONTH CONTRACT

This position is responsible to translate marketing strategies and plans into marketing activities/campaigns. Candidate will be responsible for managing a department of significant scope and financial and operational impact and is fully accountable for meeting the strategic and operating objectives of the department. Additionally, this role manages the project and team execution that brings the strategy to life in support of the marketing objectives and business goals.

Areas of experience and expertise include development of global, integrated campaigns based on the strategies of the Business Unit, relying on Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for messaging and content and packaging these campaigns for adoption and execution in all regions. Campaigns are constructed by mapping content and tactics, aligned with targeted buyer personas, and followed up by nurtures developed in Marketo. Campaigns are primarily focused on inbound lead gen - using the web, social marketing, digital advertising, content syndication, webcasts, etc. Experience with B2B marketing of software solutions in a large corporation is highly desirable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Direct the development and effective execution of campaign program/projects/initiatives that meet marketing and business goals.
- Proactively work with cross-functional/cross-organizational teams in order to define and develop those marketing initiatives and objectives.
- Implement innovative processes and creative solutions for better business practice.
- Measure, analyze and report on efficiencies, effectiveness and ROI.
- Stay current with industry trends and standards.
- Stay current on strategy, messaging/positioning, BU GTM plans.
- Lead and direct the work of marketing team.
- Develop and manage budgets and cost-saving measures; monitor ongoing business and deliver on business results through budget management.
- Develop proposed concepts and content for international programs.
- Analyze and challenge current working methods to create improvements in processes and results.
- Work with senior management in initiating project related work that impacts functional operations.
- Drive integrated programs across the organization to meet the needs of the various customer targets.
- Is accountable and understands the processes in which to support marketing initiatives to ensure compliance and to protect the interests of the client and customers.

- Under direction of the Sr. Director, Global Integrated Marketing: manages a department of significant scope and financial and operational impact.
- Accountable for meeting the strategic and operating objectives of the department.
- Develops proposed budgets for approval and manages budget once approved.
- Develops others by encouraging accountability and enforcing performance standards.
- Ensures that group understands the need for and importance of continuous learning, skill acquisition and consistent application.
- Makes strategic and tactical business decisions that directly affect the department and affect the organizations processes.
- Resolves complex problems that arise in everyday work.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures for the department to meet broad, but specific goals and objectives of the function; modifies goals in response to organizational changes.
- Analyzes and challenges current working methods to create improvements in processes and results.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Marketing, Communications or a business related field. Advanced degree a plus.

WORK EXPERIENCE: Typically 10 years in marketing and demonstrated managerial experience is preferred.
