Manager - IT Strategy (S28)

Great 6 month to longer term contract opportunity for Manager - IT Strategy to assist in developing, maintaining and communicating the ICT Strategy, ICT Capital budgets and programs of work within the Utility sector, CBD based.

This position is responsible for working with the group to develop a high level plan for the next 5 years and reporting against these plans to the Steering Committee, the regulatory committees and leadership teams. Other key responsibilities include identifying and evaluating new and emerging technologies and innovations, service delivery models (eg. Cloud), and providing appropriate strategic advice to key business and ICT stakeholders.

Experience and skills required are;

- Proven experience (over 5 years) in developing, communicating and operationalising an ICT strategic plan in both ICT consulting services and ICT organisations
- Demonstrated knowledge of new and emerging technologies and ICT business models
- Demonstrated experience in leveraging enterprise architecture in delivering the ICT Strategy
- Demonstrated success in advising and influencing senior business and ICT managers through positive relationships
- Experience in managing investment priorities across an ICT portfolio, ensuring alignment with the ICT strategy
- Demonstrated working knowledge of all aspects of an ICT Organisation
- Delivered benchmarking analyses and reports to support ICT Strategy
- Delivered board and executive communications
- Implemented ICT methodologies such as ITIL, COBIT, etc
