Manager - IT Strategy

An opportunity is now available for an experienced IT MANAGER - STRATEGY, to work for this reputable organisation. You will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new and emerging IT technologies and innovations, service delivery models and providing appropriate strategic advice to key business and IT stakeholders, the GM-IT & CIO and IT Steering Committee.

YOUR DUTIES:

- Stakeholder engagement to source business drivers and future strategies
- Develop and maintain the organisation's IT Strategic plan through engagement with the business and the broader IT community
- Develop and maintain the IT component in line with the regulatory framework
- Develop the annual IT Capital budgets and program of workTrack and report progress against the IT capital budget & program of work
- Identify new and emerging information technologies and associated services, providing advice and guidance to the CIO, IT Steering Committee and business stakeholders
- Working with Strategy & Architecture peers to ensure alignment between enterprise architecture, information security and IT strategy and IT capital investment priorities

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- Minimum 5+ years experience in developing, communicating and operationalising an IT strategic plan in both IT consulting services and IT organisations
- The ability to think strategically and not just structurally
- Demonstrated knowledge of new and emerging technologies and IT business models
- Proven experience in leveraging enterprise architecture in delivering the IT Strategy
- Experience in managing investment priorities across an IT portfolio
- Relationship-based and ambitious individual with the ability to deliver board and executive communications
- Experience in Implementing IT methodologies such as ITIL, COBIT, etc
