Manager International Medical Communications (m/f)

- Develops and maintains expert knowledge - medical, scientific and technical for the assigned product(s) and the therapeutic area and supports primary expert resource
- Develops and maintains responses to medical/scientific/technical information requests escalated from the Local Operating Company Medical teams, Medical Science Liaison teams, Physicians and other personnel in response to information requests from healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers and the general public
- Participate in the development and maintenance of electronic platforms to facilitate broad access to Medical Communications documents by internal and external stakeholders
- Maintains resources on platforms for the dissemination and sharing of all relevant Medical Communications documentation to support the therapeutic area team and stakeholders
- Undertakes literature searching, alerting, publication summaries, and review services for assigned product(s) and the therapeutic area both proactively and on request to support responses, reimbursement dossiers, and other Medical Communication deliverables
- Maintains the therapeutic area literature required for usage in the Medical Communications documents to enable quick and efficient use of already acquired knowledge for the team
- Participates in international or regional scientific congresses to support the information requirements of customers and personnel, contributes to intelligence gathering and the development of own expertise for the assigned product(s) and therapeutic area
- Maintains a working knowledge of Medical Communications functions, legal and regulatory requirements, Codes of Practice and company policies, Standard Operating Practices and guidelines as relevant to the position
- Provides feedback and input into the development and implementation of Medical Communications procedures and systems
- Creates and maintains key contacts networks and distribution lists with individuals and teams within the alignment with objectives to ensure awareness and management of stakeholders needs
- A life science or pharmacy degree or equivalent
- Sound experience of pharmaceutical industry or other relevant experience
- Strong experience in Medical Information
- Demonstrated ability to accurately and effectively evaluate medical/scientific literature
- In-depth understanding of legal requirements, regulatory issues, Codes of Practice and guidelines in the provision of Medical Communication services
- In-depth understanding and significant experience in searching specialized databases for the scientific community
