Manager Financial Planning & Analysis

Our client, a leading financial services organisation is seeking a Manager in Financial Planning and Analysis on a fixed term contract basis.

This role is key to delivering accurate and timely financial cost control, insight and analysis suitable for direct use by the senior management team members in supporting the business with advice and guidance in delivering the most effective use of the Commercial cost base. 

Key accountabilities:

Positively influence others by demonstrating core values and behaviours

Responsible for managing and implementing robust processes aligned to short term business objectives

Be a subject matter expert in the cost area understanding all aspects of the cost base and related company policy.

Establish and build relationships with stakeholders to support the provision of quality and timely information and analysis to inform business decisions

Fully support the planning process through delivering business cost plans in line with business aspirations and strategic direction.

Support agreed change projects to deliver continuous improvement systems and their impact on the business

Candidates should be qualified accountants with a background in financial services and strong experience in cost accounting.
