Manager Finance FP & a

The workload will be varied and there will be a need to be flexible and manage a broad area of activities from OPEX management and variance reporting to complex analysis and improvement projects.

Specific Job Requirements:
*This role will support the UK FD on all aspects of commercial, strategic and financial decision-making. *Conducts comprehensive financial analysis to provide strategic input to senior management
*Work with the senior management teams and HQ FP&A to develop and deliver stretch but deliverable budgets and forecasts and provides high quality analysis to support projections and any variances
*Provide ad-hoc analysis and project support for UK leadership team, including strategic insight into results, drivers and trends
*Act as challenger of the status quo, to drive performance
*Support the FD in the delivery of management reporting to UK team and headquarters
*Input to best practice analysis to support broader FP&A teams
*Drive process improvement
*Drive fit-for-purpose standardization of reporting and analysis

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
*Extensive experience in a large and complex international commercial organisation in FP&A/business partner role, ideally within pharmaceuticals
*Qualified UK accountant with extensive PQE in industry
*Understanding of pricing/volume, inventory analysis on revenue
*Experienced working with commercial forecasting models, ideally within pharmaceuticals
*Able to produce sound analysis with clear summaries and recommendations
*Understand risk management and sensitivity
*Able to understand the broader and more macro context of work undertaken and manage stakeholders
*Strong communication, networking and influencing skills -manage a variety of stakeholders effectively and confidently and proactively keeping FD up to date
*Able to work independently and deliver results
*Excellent excel skills and able to quickly organise, retrieve and present data for results incl charts, graphs, tables, analysis etc and produce relevant presentations and summaries
*Excellent Hyperion skills and extensive experience with financial and headcount forecasting tools
*Good understanding of Oracle ERP
