IHRE AUFGABEN:
-Managing of outsourcing projects on a technical level at external partners
-Developing of in-depth expertise and knowledge of our external partners to identify best project fit for the development and supply of small molecule starting materials, intermediates and drug substances externally
-Act as single point of contact for various internal stakeholders (e.g. Chemical project leader, colleagues from Synthesis, Analytics and Pilot Plant or Procurement)
-Act as single point of contact for external partners
-Drive project to achieve planned results in terms of project deliverables, meeting timelines, risk mitigating activities and cost budget
-Take responsibility for outsourced projects
-Seek close co-operation with procurement, SHE-department, quality units and small molecule MSAT (Manufacturing, Science and Technology) group to ensure that projects are run according to internal Roche guidelines
-Establish and follow supporting business processes with all internal partners
-Support of due diligence activities (e.g. on-site visits, CMC assessments, integration planning)
IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:
-PhD in chemistry, significant experience in the development of small molecule drug substances (e.g. Process Development, Analytics or Manufacturing)
-Demonstrated project leadership experience
-Strong technical- and managerial skills
-Interest in working in cross-functional teams across borders
-Good overview about regulatory and GMP requirements for development compounds in different clinical phases
-Experience in the areas of SHE, Regulatory and Quality-systems
-Knowledgeable about internal development partners from early to late phase and the corresponding development strategies
-Familiar with business processes in procurement and logistics
-Good interpersonal skills to interact with a high number of internal and external stakeholders, ability to build relationships across departments and functions, awareness of different cultures and behaviours
-Excellent communication skills, presents well on complex topics and is able to formulate clear key messages
-Excellent negotiation skills, fluency in English and German, any other language (e.g. Italian, French, Mandarin) is beneficial
-Ability to work in international/global environment, willingness to travel (up to 20%)
