MANAGER ARCHITECT TEAM/8 MONTHS/BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
For one of my clients I'm urgently looking for a Manager Architect Team for an initial period of 8 months contract to be based in Brussels, Belgium.
MY CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR A DUTCH, FRENCH AND ENGLISH SPEAKING MANAGER TO MANAGE A TEAM OF ARCHITECTS
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of team of 4-5 It architects
- Support, challenge and act as IT architect in certain projects
- Escalations between team and business owners for complex IT infrastructure projects
Required skills
- Minimum 5 years in IT management/team lead role
- Minimum 15 years in IT Infrastructure roles
- Minimum 5 years' experience as Infrastructure Architect
- Experience in complex IT infrastructure project management
- Strong Management skills towards team
- Deep knowledge of datacenter technologies: Storage (SAN, NAS), Hardware platforms, Virtualization (eg Vmware), Citrix, Windows Server, Active Directory, Unix/Linux Serve
- Wintel/Linux Server infrastructure management tools
- Knowledge of storage design (different storage tiers, best practices, Backup, IOPS)
- Deep knowledge of networking & security technologies eg Firewalls, Load Balancers, Routing, DMZ concept, VLAN's, QoS, WAN, WAN optimization.
- Good knowledge of database technologies eg Oracle, MS SQL
- Good knowledge of web services (IIS, Tomcat, Apache, Web Application Server
- Language: Dutch, French and English
