Manager Airline/Aviation Engineering Systems

A Manager Airline/Aviation Engineering Systems is required. This is an EXCEPTIONAL opportunity within a Global MARKET LEADING client. This person should have managed large IT projects in the Engineering space.

This person will have previous experience in leading IT projects in the Aviation Engineering space projects such as:

- Line Maintenance - Cabin Maintenance, In-Flight maintenance etc
- Base Maintenance - Base heavy maintenance
- Overhaul Workshops
- Technical Services
- Power Plant

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Build strategic intelligence
- Define strategic standards, guidelines, principles
- Establish governance organisation and processes
- Provision resources in accordance with priorities
- Develop and maintain cost transparency
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators
- Understand upkeep/enhance requirements and defect analysis
- The project funding to business case decision checkpoints
- Very strong Engineering background
- Program Management/project management

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:

- Governance and quality assurance
- Business case and justification
- Cost and benefit analysis
- Implementation plan
- Monitor/report project status and spend
- Evaluate benefits post implementation
- Research latest thinking and best practices
