Management Information & Resource Planning Analyst

MANAGEMENT INFORMATION (MI) & RESOURCE PLANNING (RP) ANALYST - MANCHESTER - 8 MONTH CONTRACT

Reporting to the MI & RP Manager, we are looking for an experienced MI & Resource Planning Analyst to join our team in Manchester on an interim contract until the end of the year. The purpose of this role is to produce and analyse Management Information (MI) for an investment review project and to assist in planning resource requirements to support the management team in running the project effectively. The role holder will be based out of the Manchester office but may require travel to other Capita site.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:- - Create reports, presentations, charts and other MI on both a regular and ad hoc basis, in respect of operational performance and staff utilisation
- Provide analysis and commentary of Management Information reports to draw out trends, patterns and forecasts, providing recommendations where required
- Inform management team of resource availability and constraints
- Manage the monthly billing cycle, provide capacity planning forecasts and attrition reporting
- Support the MI & RP Manager with:
- the process of forecasting monthly, weekly, daily and intra-day performance and productivity volumes, based on historical information and known future changes
- closely monitoring performance and escalation of trends in poor performance
- provision of a two-way communication channel for the department/team to maximize motivation, company success and performanc

The following are essential skills and attributes required to be considered for this opportunity:

- Proven experience of MI reporting and analysis in a commercial environment
- Significant experience in Resource Planning and Workflow Management
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Experience in a similar role, ideally in Financial Services in a contact centre or Back Office function would be highly desirable
