Management Consultant

 MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT VACANCY IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.

IDPP are seeking to hire a Management Consultant on a 3-9 month contract basis to work for a major GLOBAL Consulting Organization who work with most blue chip IT companies as well as Operators and Vendors on a global scale.

My client has a project in Southern California where a Senior Consultant with a telecommunications background is needed for a telematics contract negotiation project. 
The telematics know-how will be provided through collaboration with the company's Automotive division. While the consultant will provide the telecommunications, project management and contract negotiation support.

The project is for an automotive client who is in technical contract negotiations with a major US carrier for providing connectivity for their new telematics products.  They need Project Management support and help with contract and service level agreement negotiations. Later on the role will include implementation and handover to their internal team.

- Analytical
- Advisory
- Operator exp

As well as having demonstrable experience in a similar role to the above, the consultant will also be required to have experience in the following:

1) Deep understanding of Wireless Carrier/Network Operator business models and cost structures
2) Deep understanding of contracting/billing structures of carriers to customers (B-2-B and B-2-C)
3) Not necessarily technical expert - More important: Proven negotiation and contract development/structure experience with previous projects (big contracts preferred)
4) Deep understanding of typical pricing structures and knowledge and decision making variables
5) Must have substantial background on Carrier Level (worked at renowned names eg Telekom or O2)
6) Must have deep understanding of CDMA network technology and specific
7) Best case: Candidate with International Experience
8) Business Fluent in English
9) US work permit

Location: California
Duration: 3-9 months
Start Date: ASAP, (latest start July)
Pay: $700 - $750 P/D plus travel.
