Management Accountant - Edinburgh - 3months

*MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - EDINBURGH - 3MONTHS*

Fantastic opportunity for an experience management accountant for an initial 3 months contract based in Edinburgh.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide specialist and technical advice to budget holders, members of the finance department, non-finance staff and external organisations
- Responsible for budgets, forecasting and ensuring accurate management accounts are prepared to enable budget holder decision making.
- Responsible for compiling budgets for own area of responsibility in the short term and for long term planning.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- The postholder will be a qualified CCAB accountant
- In depth knowledge of financial accounting procedures
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Extensive experience of spreadsheets
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritise workloads and balance conflicting priorities
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
