Management Accountant

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join a market-leading Construction and Civil Engineering company for a position based in Newcastle.

ROLE PURPOSE

- To deliver support to the IT Finance Team for the 2105 Finance year end
- To deliver support for the migration of the 2016 Budget allocations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS

- Qualified CA/CIMA/ACCA
- Excellent understanding of accounting and reporting systems, legislation, statutory and regulatory framework
- Strong knowledge of best practice thinking in accounting and reporting processes and Shared Services
- Excellent working knowledge of multicurrency ERP system (preferably Oracle). Intermediate/advanced Ms Excel, Ms Powerpoint

EXPERIENCE

- An experienced management accountant with considerable experience in managing, planning and controlling accounting and reporting function in a shared service operating environment.
- Team working experience.
- Relevant experience of managing in a customer service focused organisation and a track record of delivery
- Experience of operating in large-scale complex organisations with diverse stakeholder communities
- Experience of transitioning OpCo into an accounting and reporting shared service and strong continuous improvement and project experience
