Management Accountant

We are currently seeking a Part-Qualified management Accountant for a leading energy company based in reading for a 6 months contract. The role is situated within the Group Management Reporting Team in order to play a key role in regards to the review, analysis and reporting of Group performance to the companies senior Management Team.

Key duties include:

- Production of sections of monthly Group Reporting to Senior Management
- Asset reporting for two major parts of the business
- Production of performance reporting based on analysis and investigation of Assets' monthly performance reports
- Understand the business developments and implications for group reporting in order to interpret assets
- Group reporting and analysis
- Maintain relationships and lines of communication with stakeholders
- Ad hoc reporting and support to assets ensuring group compliance with business policies

Ideal candidate:

- Immediately available - 1 week notice
- Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA (or equivalent) accountant
- Experience in a management reporting or similar role
- Production of detailed and accurate financial reporting to specific timescales
- SAP (ERP, BCS and BI), as well as IFRS experience
- Strong presentation, reporting and communication skills
