Management Accountant

A large blue chip organisation within the Thames Valley require an interim Management Accountant for an initial period of 3 months to provide support to the Finance Manager and lead the finance team in managing and driving their business, offering tight financial control and credible advice.

This role will require you to prepare budgets and forecasts for operational capital expenditure in parallel with the Finance Manager and provide insight on performance against these measures. You will be required to improve the company's existing understanding of the correlations between activity, operational performance and cost, and assist the Finance Manager in establishing a plan that achieves both operation and financial objectives. This role will involve preparation of monthly accruals and entering accounting journals as necessary and you will work with other Management Accountants and external parties to identify and share good practice.

You will be a qualified accountant with extensive experience of SAP and Excel. You will have previously demonstrated strong management accounting experience, backed up with business acumen. You should be able to work both independently and in a team and you must have the aptitude to communicate effectively across all levels.
