We are currently recruiting in West Dorset for a field-based Managed Service Engineer focusing on the installation, upgrade, ongoing support and commissioning of computer related hardware and software primarily within the General Practice environment.
The successful Managed Service Engineer will work within an Egton team of 2, alongside the Customers Engineers, diagnosing problems and carrying out break fix repairs according to specific NHS procedures.
The position calls for initiative and sound technical skills in fault diagnosis, and a proactive attitude to making improvements for the customer.
Managed Service Engineer - Essential requirements:
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 / 2012 experience
• Minimum of 2 years customer facing experience as a field IT Engineer
• Microsoft Active Directory knowledge
• Networking and troubleshooting client desktop PCs
• Strong hardware skills
• Full driving licence
Managed Service Engineer - Desirable requirements:
• Microsoft Exchange knowledge
• GP Surgery/Pharmacy experience
• Window 7 experience
What we offer:
• Position offered on a one month rolling contract (estimated duration 3 months)
• Salary £24,000 to £27,000 depending on experience
