Managed Care Biller Job

PATIENT ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVES (BILLERS)needed for a FULL TIME/CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Francisco, CA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Two (2) years of Medical Group Billing experience with patient accounting and revenue cycle processes
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD9 coding and medical terminology required
- Knowledge of medical/insurance billing required

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Review of non-payment and/or incorrect payment for possible appeal
- Monitor IDX billing system setup to ensure compliance with all relevant payer information billing
- Following guidelines and/or reference tools: CPT, ICD9, HCPC, medical terminology manuals; Correct Coding Initiative Edits; Medicare Fee Schedule

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must have a High School Diploma
- Two (2) years of Medical Group Billing experience with patient accounting and revenue cycle processes
- Must be experienced in determining reason for unpaid claims or patient accounts and determine the best and most efficient ways and methods to communicate appeal
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD9 coding and medical terminology required
- Knowledge of medical/insurance billing required
- Intermediate level use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
