The duties of the MIM are:
- Take ownership for an incident (P1 or P2) and act as the primary level of escalation.
- Ensure that the correct CI has been assigned to the incident.
- Provide a prompt recovery of the business within the SLA.
- Assure that the focus on the incident resolution is not taken away by other activities.
- Where necessary escalate to the Operational Lead/Global MIM Lead when Eco-System partners are not engaging within required timescales or where you believe the level of knowledge is lacking and therefore more senior resources are required.
- Send incident notifications to the customer and interested parties.
- Setting up and leading conference call or bridge communication between all involved parties
- Keep tracking and records of the time lines
- Act as an interface towards technicians, customer and other groups within the organization.
- Production of Major Incident Reports for all P1 incidents
- Complete the Problem Management Handover document for managed incidents.
- Assist Global MIM Team Lead and Operational Lead with process improvements, data analysis and changes in working practices.
- Aid the resolution of any Risks & Issues that have been raised and logged by the MIM community.
- Contribute to the knowledge documentation and encourage other team members to do the same.
