Maintenance Technician Job

FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in BALTIMORE, MD.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Pharmaceutical facility equipment
- HVAC, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Perform a variety of general repairs, installations and maintenance on facility equipment, building and utility systems such as high-pressure steam, chilled water, purified water, airperform welding and sheet metal operations as required.
- May assist with repairers and maintenance of production equipment.
- Performs daily maintenance and/or repairs on facility and associated equipment with minimum supervision.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance to meet schedule demands.
- Perform analysis of facility/equipment operations and/or processes for continuous improvement in quality, safety and/or efficiencies.
- Provide support by documentation of maintenance, training, and/or validations business needs

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must have a two (2) year advanced education in facilities maintenance related curriculum or equivalent experience plus four (4) plus years of experience as Facilities Maintenance mechanic in the pharmaceutical manufacturing/packaging industry
- Knowledgeable of appropriate construction codes.
- Maintenance for physical and mechanical condition of building (both inside and outside of building), utility systems and facility equipment. Specialized training/certification/license in two or more maintenance disciplines such as electrical, electronics, refrigeration, current universal refrigerant certification is required
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing/pipe fitting, carpentry, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
- Candidates must have a strong HVAC and refrigeration and controls background in a Facilities Maintenance role for this open position. Working knowledge of cGMP's.
