Maintenance Technician Job

SENIOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in WEST GREENWICH, RI.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- HVAC and refrigeration
- Boiler and Steam rooms
- High purity water generation and distribution
- Wastewater
- Compressed air

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Under minimal direction, execute advanced maintenance activities or operate assigned equipment, facility, utility, and HVAC Systems in accordance with established guidelines and operating procedures.
- Conduct intermediate troubleshooting to identify root cause and appropriate corrective actions to diagnose or avert equipment problems on complex, integrated systems.
- Review and revise procedures and maintenance job plans to ensure appropriate content.
- Ensure that work is executed according to plan and schedule.
- Ensure compliance and safety through effective understanding of GMP and safety requirements and acceptable documentation practices.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High school degree or equivalent
- Combination five or more (5+) years of utilities maintenance and/or utilities operations experience gained through education, training, and/or experience
- Maintenance and operations experience with boiler and high pressure steam, and high purity water generation and distribution
- Proven equipment and operations troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge and three or more (3+) years working experience in a GMP regulated environment
- Ability to read and understand technical material including but not limited to operating manuals, single line drawings, standard engineering drawings, electrical schematics and P&IDs
- Intermediate computer skills

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Combination seven or more (7+) years of maintenance and/or operations experience gained through education, training, and/or experience
- Bachelor's degree desirable
- Broad maintenance and troubleshooting experience with automated and manual utilities systems and equipment, including, but not limited to boilers and steam, high purity water generation and distribution, HVAC and refrigeration, wastewater, and compressed air
- Experience with automation for operating and monitoring systems and equipment
- Experience with Six Sigma or similar Operational Excellence tools
- Experience with execution of Hazardous Energy Control Procedures
