Maintenance Support Engineer - Instruments

I have been tasked with recruiting a Maintenance Support Engineer - Instruments, for a key client of our based in Aberdeen. This position is a staff role, based in the heart of the city centre. The salary will range from £60,000-£66,000 depending on experience. Some of the responsibilities will include:

Be there to direct and give input to risk assessment when it is required

Ensure all instrument equipment in hazardous areas are maintained in accordance with the appropriate legislation

Responsible for review and reduction of related back logs and adherence to Divisional Deferral Management Procedure

Be capable of monitoring the performance, failures and serviceability of all plant instrumentation equipment and systems

Ensure all third party support performs in accordance with the contract deliverables and reports on progress

Budget responsibility as appropriate to the post financial approval level

Be able to demonstrate your understanding of Assurance and Verification practices sets performance standards with the verification system in conjunction with the technical team Maintenance Team Leader

Ensures effective reporting processes are in place with Offshore Maintenance Supervision for all related activities
