Maintenance Officer

* MAINTENANCE OFFICER - IRVINE- 5 MONTH CONTRACT*

Our IRVINE based client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced MAINTENANCE OFFICER to provide a comprehensive range of property maintenance and management services across a range of non-housing properties.

- Provide a comprehensive property maintenance advice and procurement service, by establishing planned and reactive maintenance requirements through the use of departmental systems leading to work ordering within allocated budgets.
- Comply with requirements to provide clear work specification, order writing and commitment value, monitor work on site and check/audit accounts received.
- Observe departmental procedures for property operations and provide assistance and undertake duties relating to vandalism information, processing insurance claims, property surveys and other related matters as may be defined from time to time.
- Ensure quality control for all works under your supervision and ensure contracts and contractors performance are fed back to the Senior Maintenance Officer.
- To support in the provision and update of information on conditions and suitability of buildings for use by Asset Management.
- Provide support to client/customer requirements, and through Service Managers provide guidance on property related technical matters.
- Ensure that contractors operating within properties in your care take full cognizance of procedures in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Regulations in relation to safety of occupants, contractors employees and general public.
- Ensure compliance with the Construction Design and Management Regulations in so far as they may apply to works under your control, liaising with CDM-c when appointed.
- Provide reasonable emergency cover and assistance outwith normal working hours.
