Maintenance Mechanic Job

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, MO.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Experience with packaging lines, specifically thermoforming and bottling equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic systems

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Observe equipment in operation and confer with operators to detect and diagnose mechanical defects or malfunctions, utilizing knowledge of mechanical functions and performance characteristics of equipment.
- Visually inspect and listen to machine and equipment to locate cause of malfunctions.
- Disassemble equipment and machines to gain access to problem area using hand tools and power tools.
- Remove and replace worn or defective parts, using hand tools and power tools and following blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High school or technical school courses in mechanical drawing, electricity, blueprint reading, science and mathematics
- Mechanical aptitude, ability to use shop math and manual dexterity are.
- Experience with packaging lines, specifically thermoforming and bottling equipment needed.
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic systems.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- One to three years of experience is preferred
- Pneumatic experience is a plus.
