Maintenance Engineer
Operations delivery is accountable for the performance of operations and/or support within the organisational division concerned.
Light industrial refers to activities in manufacturing that is less capital-intensive and require less heavy machinery.
Assembly line operations or putting together mechanical or fabricated parts that have been manufactured elsewhere fall within this category.
Description
Individually or as part of a project team responsible for implementation and scheduling of a maintenance plan as a preventive measure to ensure timely repair for each piece of equipment under its direction
with the goal to decrease the number of breakdowns or work stoppages because of equipment failure.
Responsible for inventory, monitoring and inspection of equipment necessary for spare part management and identification of worn components with the goal to replace before a breakdown or work stoppage occurs and minimize down-time.
Manages equipment documentation to enable evaluation of cost and performance of each piece of equipment in order to determine the effectiveness of the equipment and its preventive maintenance plan.
Responsible for recruiting and training technicians on the corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment. This includes identifying qualified technicians to perform the duties outlined in the maintenance plan.
Education
Engineering degree in biochemistry, agronomy or biotechnology
Experience with pharmaceutical environment and requirements (validation, procedures)
Project management skills (planning of activities, resource management &)
Knowledge/Skills
Capability of working transversally with different departments
Good communication skills
Sense of urgency
Perform his/her work in a cGMP consistent manner
Required experience
Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
IT skills
SAP Microsoft Office
Languages skills
