LOCATION: Portsmouth easily commutable from Southampton, Hampshire, Reading and with excellent access from South Coast
Rate: £44.00 per hour

OUTSOURCE UK LTD IS ACTIVELY SEEKING TO RECRUIT A MAINTENANCE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER FOR A CONTRACT ROLE ON BEHALF OF A CLIENT.

THE CLIENT:
A leading Engineering and Defence organisation

THE JOB:
The successful Maintenance Development Engineer candidate will be responsible for defining the future maintenance period project- with supporting processes, instructions and operating procedures- and to act as the Programme Manager from requirement through execution to delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
The purpose of the Maintenance Development Engineer role will to be responsible for the following:
To define the maintenance requirement, detailing the necessary maintenance procedures and method statements, establishing all necessary governance through creating control and process documents within the Quality System, provide management oversight for the compilation and reconciliation of future Maintenance Period work packages, provide evidence of Value for Money (VfM) judgments and to establish the recommended process to act as the customer, including sentencing variation, for these Maintenance Periods.
Develop future Maintenance policies working 'cross COM' to ensure symmetry for future changes.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE
Experience of working in the Maritime maintenance and support environment at a management level
HND or equivalent in Maritime related engineering or can demonstrate equivalent experience
