Position Description: Responsible for providing IBI/FOCUS Reporting Support.
Requires competence in the design and implementation of computer or database management systems, and possesses knowledge of the state-of-the-art in software/database engineering methodologies, FOCUS tool, and design techniques, as well as applicable software/database standards.
Experience Level: 6-10 Years.
Top 3 - 5 Daily responsibilities
Assist Existing & New Users with accessing FOCUS Libraries & Data
Review Existing FOCUS Libraries
Preparing documentation of existing Queries (Data, Intended Audience, Usage)
Assisting Project Team with understanding of FOCUs Reports & Queries
Top 3 - 5 Required Skills
Current use of Mainframe programming languages, and other Mainframe utilities/tools.
zOS Knowledge & Expertise
Current Knowledge of zOS Data (VSAM, DB/2) and Utilities
Current Knowledge of PDS DataSets
Current Knowledge of TAPE DataSets High School Diploma or GED
Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent certifications with required skills.
