MAINFRAME LEAD DEVELOPER/COBOL/JCL/REXX/UNIX/DB2/OAM
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within IT, we are looking for an experienced Mainframe Lead Developer/Cobol/JCL/REXX/Unix/DB2/OAM, for this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for a German and English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. FOR THIS POSITION YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
- Good Working experience in Mainframe Development/Enhancement projects.
- Good Hands-on experience in Cobol, JCL, REXX, VSAM, UNIX, Shell Scripting are mandatory. (CICS, Assembler, Java will be added advantage for cross application coordination)
- Experience in IBM On-Demand, DB2 tools (BMC, Spufi), Changeman, Job spool & Scheduling tool (Control-D//TWS) is preferred.
- Knowledge of the Data Storage management tools like OAM, LCD are preferred for the On-demand archive data storage and retrieval.
- Good Testing knowledge to create the Testdata for the Test cases defined by the designated Testing team.
- Idea of version control, experience with Configuration management and SD-Agile methodology are added advantage.
- Fluency in German and English
