MAINFRAME FUNCTIONAL DESIGNER/ANALYST

I have an immediate requirement for a Mainframe Functional Designer/Analyst working for one of my globally leading tech firms. For this position you will be based from their Dutch office and therefore command of the Dutch language is required.

AS A MAINFRAME FUNCTIONAL DESIGNER YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- TECHNICAL:
- Cobol, JCL, DB2 & IMS (IMS is nice to have but not essential)
- DOMAIN: Manufacturing
- SPEAKING LANGUAGES: Dutch and English
- GENERAL:
- Experience in analysing business requirements and preparing functional design documents
- Experience in solutions designing involving Mainframe technology (Cobol,JCL, DB2)
- Exposure to leading Application Design and System Testing
- Good Analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Proficiency in ERP functionality

IMMEDIATE START!

CONTRACT: 6months +

LOCATION: Nr to Amsterdam

FULL DESCRIPTION:

As a Mainframe Functional Designer/Analyst you preferably will have come from an ERP background in manufacturing. With prior job titles such as functional designer or Functional Analyst, you will be proficient in both Dutch and English. You will be responsible for (but not limited to). Requirements Gathering, Impact Analysis, Functional Design, Effort estimation, Participating in stakeholder communications.

Your Key responsibilities will be analysing business requirements from multiple stakeholders, Analyzing current application functionality, Provide accurate impact assessment and estimation for the projects, Creating functional design documentation based on the analysis and understanding of the Legacy application, Create test scenarios for testing, Involve in review process to ensure that quality goals are met, Assisting the development team by clearing doubts in the requirement or solution design.
